Brussel sprouts may not be the world's favourite vegetables but they are packed with nutrition. My husband didn't really like eating them growing up, but I now make it a little differently to what he knew and he likes it a lot more.
Brussel sprouts are so good for our immunity and we try to eat them often in the cooler months.
The prep time mentioned in the recipe includes the blanching of the Brussel sprouts. You can tone down the garlic if you so choose but I feel like the fried garlic really helps add that extra flavour to the Brussel sprouts. Feel free to add more fresh herbs to this mix. I would suggest oregano and thyme.
I highly recommend making this with Oven baked fish .
