The truth is that vegans are not missing out this Christmas because of the variety of substitute vegan meats that are available including varying vegan hams – what’s there to miss! All the three meals below are filling but just enough to keep you in mode for a hearty dinner.

For the vegan burger: use Tomatoes, avocados, cashew cheese and burgers made from vegan 'meat' or lentil patty.

For Vegan nuggets: use Vegan 'meat' or mashed potatoes or mixed lentil patty.

For the Black beans with Tortilla chips: use Vegan cheese or cashew cheese instead of regular cheese.

After a day preparing yummy meals it's time to reward yourself with the star of the show - Christmas dinner!

Dessert

Finally, we arrive at dessert.

If you are deciding to make the cakes, I strongly advise making it the night before.

Usually, If I spend a lot of time prepping the meals, I tend to go with a very simple dessert such as Vanilla ice cream.

Not every meal has to be grand and labour intensive. The aim after all is family and the moments we enjoy spending with them.

Vanilla Ice Cream Red velvet Cake

For the Red Velvet Cake: use vegan cream cheese frosting.

Fruit Cake
